Services for William Albert Gurr, 73, of Anderson will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Moose Lodge in Redding.
Pastor Keith Jacobson of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Palo Cedro will officiate.
Mr. Gurr died Sunday, May 14, 1995, at his residence.
Born July 7, 1921, in Goldengate (Goldendale? - my note), Wash., he moved to Shasta County in 1989 from San Francisco.
He worked for Scudder Food Products and Remco Dist. Corp., both in the Bay area, and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge and Elks Club, both in Redding, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, both in Anderson.
Survivors include son Bill of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters Marjorie Hatler of Fresno and Irene Sanderson of Buffalo, Mo.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 9650, P.O. Box 831, Anderson, CA 96007; or to Moose Lodge Building Fund, 320 Lake Blvd., Redding, CA 96003.
