Elmer G. Ede, d. 1925 - Anyone want a challenge?
I will sometimes answer genealogy questions in my county, Stanislaus (California), the way normal people do crossword puzzles. I'm hoping to find a kindred spirit; someone like me, who is vastly experienced, highly intelligent, incurably curious and, above all, devilishly handsome.
I'm looking for an Elmer G. Ede. The ancestry.com Utah State Death Index has:
Name: Elmer G Ede
Death Date: 11 Jan 1925
State File Number: 1925000152
Gender: Male
Age: 30
County of Death: Salt Lake

I can't find Elmer in 1920 or 1930. The Elmer on the Utah State Death Index matches exactly, down to the middle initial, but the birth year is off by two. "Ede" is a rare surname.
An obituary would be ideal. A birth state would do; if he was born in Nevada, he's mine and if not he isn't. Anyone up for a puzzle?
Thank you.
