Re: ???? Blatnick and Elizabeth (Betty) Morgan, Salt Lake

Elizabeth (betty) was born in Ky 2/28/1869 to Joseph Isaac McNeese and Laura Ann Miller. The exact year that the Millers and the Joseph McNeese family came to Mo is unknown but I do know that Elizabeth married Tom A Morgan on 2 Feb 1886 in Springfield Mo. Tom A. Morgan bron b. 19 April 1859 in Vaiden Ms. Three chidlren were of this marriage Harry P., Lee R., Allene.

Allene Morgan married Thomas Warren in Mo and moved to Wa in about 1900- 1906.When Elaine Warren was born to this union in 1910 her grandparents Tom A. Morgan and Elizabeth McNeese Morgan came to Wa for her birth.They remained in Wa for a number of years before moving with their son Harry P Morgan to Taft California.Lee R. Morgan and Allene Morgan Warren remained in Wa for the remainder of their lives while Harry remained in Taft Ca for a number of years eventually becomming Mayor of that town.Hard times fell in the 30s and eventually Harry moved to Nv where he passed.

Tom Morgan passed in 1924 and rests in Bakerfield cemetery.I don't know the exact year but I suspect it was in the first part of the 1950s that Betty returned to Wa and passed away Sept 28 1959 and she rests in Centralia Wa.

Morgan when he passed in 1937.This obit indicates her name as Mrs. Elizabeth Blatnick, Salt lake City as his mother.In the meantime I will be contacting James Morgan, her only surviving grandson. He is the one that met her third husband and does recall his last name, also of Salt lake City. i suspect Mr. Blatnick was the husband my father met when he visitied them in Salt Lake City in the summer or early fall of 1940.
