My ancestor Dr. Silas Clark was the brother of Josiah Clark married to Rosina Day.Silas married Nancy Day, daughter of Russell Day and Anna Chapman, who was Rosina Day's sister.The name Rosina continued through Silas Clark and Nancy Day's daughter Rosina.Rosina never married.
Silas and Nancy's daughter Saloma/Salome married Hiram Polley and they had a daughter named Nancy Rosina Clark b. abt. 1836 in NY.There were other Rosina's among cousins.
Silas Clark married Nancy Day in 1800 in Winhall, Bennington, VT.They moved to Peru, VT where their last son Warren Chapman Clark was born about 1814.Nancy died of typhoid in 1814 in Peru.Silas then moved to Schuyler, Herkimer NY about 1818 +/-.He married for the second time to Cynthia Smith Ingram, the widow of Joseph Ingram.Silas died about 1854.

Most of the family moved to Freeport, Stephenson, IL at various times after 1850.
