Re: William Turner Chapman, death record
The World War I Draft Registration Card image database has William Turner Chapman in Chehalis, Lewis County, born May 15, 1881.He was logging. His nearest relative was James A Chapman.
--In the 1930 Census, James Abner Chapman and family were in Centralia, Lewis County. He was a timber faller. The correction on the census from James O, to James Abner was made by CECarroll1945 on 6/28/2009.Appears to be you...This family wasn't on your posted family trees.I was trying to find where James had died/buried, for a potential connection to William.
--I did find in another family tree the mother was Sarah Page Turner, thus the Turner middle name; but, this tree shows she died in 1879.It shows William born 1881, and no further information. It shows James death after 1899.
--I did find a James Chapman on the Social Security Death Index, born 5 Jan 1880, died August 1964.SSN issued in Washington.
After many additional searches:
www.findagrave.com shows William Turner Chapman, born May 15, 1881, died July 3, 1953, buried in Claquato Cemetery, Chehalis, Lewis Co.
--Since you wrote the information, it appears you have the date of death, etc. When you post, it is SOOOO very important to write what you already know; otherwise volunteer researchers will waste considerable time looking for what you already have.
