Hello my name is Gonzalo Guzman, I'm currently researching the migration of Mexican families from Worland to Wapato during the late 1930s and 1940s. If you look at the 1940s Census you already see families from Worland and Wyoming in Wapato, Rural Toppenish, and even Brownstown.
I've interviewed a number of people in Wapato, who grew up in Worland such as those from the Rico, Vasquez, and Jamie family. But of course there is more. I would love to get any information you have regarding Worland and Wapato if you have the chance.
Regarding the Renner Farm this wasn't unusual. Mexicans in Worland either lived in the company colony, farms, or to a lesser degree in town. However, Mexicans only lived in Worland during the winter, during the sugar beet harvest they would all be on the farms.
