My name is Graham Abbs and I am one of the few remaining male Abbs' from East Runton, Near Cromer England. At one time there were a number of Abbs in the area as may be demonstrated by the existence of Abbs common and Abbs farm in the village. The next village of West Runton also is home to several Abbs' and the parish church there has a graveyard containing many Abbs'. A valuable source for genealogists but no longer available to me personally as I have moved to Tyneside.
I am surprised to see so much correspondence from Canada on the site. Curiously my uncle Ronald was trained as an RAF pilot somewhere in Canada during WW II but alas did not survive the war. Surely he did not love and leave so many women while he was there!
