My mother was a Tillman and I have information on family. Mrs. Susannah Parham b 1648 d. 3/2/1717 was Roger's second wife, 1680, and settled Prince George County. Children John b 1682; George b 1/10/1683; Jane; Christine m Robert Abernathy. (Roger changed spelling of name from Tilghman to Tillman when he came to Prince George County, Va - don't know year).
Roger b circa 1650 in Accomac County, Va. m Winnefred Austin in 1674. Children Robert b. 1675; m Parham.
Christopher Tilghman b 1600, Selling Faversham Hunddred, Kent County, England. d. James County Va. m Ruth Devonshire. children Roger b 1650; Gideon & John. The time of his arrival is listed in Greers Early Immigrants to Va and in patents of VA as of May 9, 1635.
Christopher Tilghman b & d prior to 1619. M Anna Sanders.English records indicate that Mrs. Tilghman was a direct descendent of King William the Conqueror. Childre Issac, John, a second John, Christopher b. 1600, and Mary.
Nicholas Tilghman M Jane Benson, children: Christopher John.
Nicholas Tilghman children: Nicholas, Magery, Thomas.
Thomas Tilghman Owner of Beechwort Castle in Surry County, Eng. Son: Nicholas
Nicholas Tilghman Son: Thomas
Richard Tilghman Sons: William, Thomas, Nicholas
