I think my ancestor, William Bradshaw's son Josiah, may have gotten his land in Lincoln County, NC, before his father moved to TN. Josiah died in what is now Caldwell County, NC, then Burke, and Josiah's son Seth, my ancestor moved to Hickory County, MO where he died and my mother was born- much later.
There is a Bradshaw, very knowledgeable, genealogist who can most likely tell you everything you want to know and I think maybe I better send her, last known to me, email address in private email. The last I have on her is in 2005. Someone had copied all of her work word for word and posted it on their own web site as their own so she deleted all of her Bradshaw work from the internet and that is the last I know of her. I am sure that she would be happy to help you if her email is still valid.
You say that Miles Abernathy, in the deed, was verified as the one who married the Paar woman, do you have information on Grief Abernathy and Bartholomew K. Abernathy who were witnesses on that deed? I don't have really good proof on them and I would like to have more.
I didn't stay on that Bradshaw board very long - I just wanted to know who my ancestors were and then moved on to something else. There was a lot of information on the board and I might have something else here - I will look.
