In hopes that more information will come to light, here's what I've found to date:
Guy L'Estrange was born 17 Sep 1830 in Birr, Co. Offaly, Ireland and died about Sep 1898 in Kings County (Offaly), Ireland. His father was Lt. William L'ESTRANGE Esq and mother was Caroline Stewart Atkinson.
He married Ellen Sarah Abernethy (born 25 Apr 1845) in Jun 1878. Ellen's parents were William Henry Abernethy and Eleanor Horsman.
Guy and Ellen's children were: | - William Henry L'Estrange born 27 Jun 1879 in Carrig, Tipperary, Ireland and he died 17 Sep 1961 in San Bernardino, ?California, ?United States and was buried 1961 in Glendale, Los Angeles County, California, USA in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Plot: Liberty, Map 1, Lot 2042, Space 2. He married in 1912 Marie Hortense (likely surnamed Harmidas).
| - Maria Florence Evelyn L'Estrange born 25 Aug 1896 in Carrig, Offaly, Ireland, and she married Thomas Luke.
| - Eleanor L'Estrange born 18 Jan 1881 in Carrig, Tipperary, Ireland and died 16 Mar 1975. She was married on 19 Jun 1906 in Potchefstroom, South Africa at St. Mary's Church Potchefstroom to Charles Fairbanks.
| - Dorothy Kate L'Estrange, born 16 Oct 1898 in Carrig, Tipperary, Ireland.
| - Caroline Irene L'Estrange, born 25 Apr 1888 in Carrig, County Tipperary, Ireland and she died 12 May 1952 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was married on 12 Oct 1941 in Steuben County, Indiana, USA to Clarence Gregory.
| - Edith Isabella L'Estrange, born 14 Jul 1893 in Carrig, Tipperary, Ireland and was married to Albert Duffield.
| - Mary Violet Beatrice L'Estrange, born 5 Nov 1891 in Carrig, Tipperary, Ireland.
| - Guy Edmund Francis L'Estrange, born 26 Nov 1885 in Carrig, Offaly, Ireland.
| - George Aubrey Gordon L'Estrange, born 26 Jun 1890 in Carrig, County Tipperary, Ireland.
There were possibly two other children Auloe & May, but I suspect they were George & Mary (or Maria) as above.
