Steve,

Thank you for your interest. We have about 10 members in the Abrams DNA project, altho we are still awaiting results on some of them.

To participate in our project, you must be a male from an unbroken line of males, as the tested DNA passes from father to son only.In our case, the surname would more than likely still be Abrams or Abram or Abraham etc.Since your line is from Alice Abram, your DNA would not be from an Abrams. If you can find a descendent from one of Alice's brothers, assuming she had brothers, and that line is strictly male, then that DNA would be significant and you might be able to draw some conclusions. So if you know of any male 4th or 5th cousins named Abram etc, please encourage them to join.

A better path for you to take would be to join a project that is designed for Reeve/Reave/Reeves etc.Try

Please let me know if I can be of any further help. My own line of Abrams is probably English or Welsh or Cornish altho I would like to get some additional Abrams DNA participants to compare to.

bye
