NEW YORK - Gertrude M.Abrams, 90, formerly of Thompson, who has been a resident of Pleasant Valley, New York for over 20 years, died on Monday, March 14, 2005 at St.Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York.She was born on January 8, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Pelagia (Luda) Bolestaw Bandelewski.Mrs.Abrams was a homemaker and was married to Rudolph Abrams in 1936.
Survivors include 3 sons, Rudy (Elizabeth) Abrams of Millbrook, New York, Craig (Judith) Abrams of Aiken, South Carolina, and Gerald (Rebecca) Abrams of Rhinebeck, New York; Grandchildren, Craig (Karene) Abrams, Jr., Shannon (Josh) Richardson, Christopher (Bernadette) Abrams, Darren Abrams, Sherry Wenzel, Jarrod (Heather) Abrams; Great Grandchildren Abigale and Alexis Richardson, Christopher Jr., Courtney, Ashley and Lauren Abrams, Trista Rozell and Tyler Jay Abrams; Great Great Grandson Christopher Abrams III; Brother Frank Bender of Winston Salem, North Carolina; and 2 Sisters, Theodora (Harlan) Hoffman of Madison and Eleanor (Richard) Landphair of Geneva.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Abrams in 1986; sisters Helen Moore and Charlotte Bandelewski; and brothers Edwin, Joseph and Henry.
Visitation is from 9 to 11 A.M.on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M.on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the funeral home with Rev.Sean Donnelly of Immaculate Conception Church officiating.
