I've been trying to convince some ABRAMS 4th cousins descended from Henry ABRAMS Sr. of Turkeyfoot to get DNA tested, but when they read a message on this forum saying that someone descended from Henry ABRAMS Sr. of Turkeyfoot has already been tested, they simply deside there isn't much point. Therefore please describe more accurately what "supposedly" means. I assume that it probably means you are a member of that big KY ABRAMS family with similar names and geography but no paper trail connecting them to the Henry ABRAMS Sr. of Turkeyfoot, Somerset Co. PA; but the meaning of "supposedly" is unclear.
I know of 3 living ABRAMS males from Butler Co. PA documented as descended from Henry ABRAMS Sr. of Turkeyfoot, Somerset Co. PA; and it is likely there is another such ABRAMS male in the Olean NY area. Similarly, Edward Finch ABRAMS (occasional actor and movie producer), who died in Los Angeles Co. CA on 15 Jun 1997 is a direct descendent, so there is a possibility of some living ABRAMS males descended from Henry ABRAMS Sr. of Turkeyfoot in the Los Angeles area. With a little footwork, it should be possible to track down a number of such ABRAMS males, and hopefully at least one of them will be interested in being tested so we will finally get the Y DNA of Henry ABRAMS Sr. of Turkeyfoot.
I don't have the right Y DNA for such testing, and no ancestor of mine since a great grandfather has been an ABRAMS male, but I would like to see Y DNA testing carried out to see if some of the hypothetical undocumented links people have made with Henry ABRAMS Sr. of Turkeyfoot might be real (or lead to some more distant connection).
