I have just read this message.I found the other one and answered it without looking forward for anymore.
This one pretty much tells what I told you in the other message.
As far as what my grandparents died of I am not sure but I think my grandmother died of some sort of paralysis, something like Huntington's disease or Lou Gehrig's disease if they are not the same.My Aunt Laura in Oklahoma City had three children that died of the same disease. As far as I know none of Aunt Flossie's children had this as neither one of us has, my sister and me. Our brother was killed in a car accident in 1952, leaving a wife and little boy.As far as I know, his son is all right. It seems it just afflicted the one family.Aunt Lura, (the names can be confusing) had no children.
Daddy died in 1949 in a veteran's hospital in Little Rock, AR.His official cause was pneumonia.Mother died in 1984.Her maiden name was Britt and was from Chariton Co., Mo.
I am curious to know where you live.I live in Woodward, OK, Woodward Co.This is in the northwestern part of Oklahoma. My sister lives in Blackwell, OK, Kay County. We grew up in Cleveland, OK, Pawnee Co.
I am too excited to think too clearly right now and I will have muse on all this information.Thank you again!
Our grandmother, Dora May, is buried in Mendon, Mo.This summer we went to Brunswick and Mendon and took pictures of headstones. She is buried in the same grave plot as Rebecca Ward.Perry C. Ward is buried in a different plot.We were not sure if he was the husband of Rebecca. We thought that she died in Missouri but evidently not.
Dora May Abrams is the only Abrams that we could find in that cemetery. There were several Wards but we didn't know how to make the connection. This is all new to us as we had so little to go on and did't know how to use what we did know. But since getting this computer I have had a whole new world opened up to me.
