Re: ACKER, LIVINGSTON COUNTY NY 1800S,
I'm not sure whether our Ackers are of the same line, but I suspect they might be.I have a very little information, but here it is
1.The Mt. Morris Union announced in its issue of 23. May, 1895 on page three the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Acker of Mt. Morris on 18 May 1895
2.In the same paperin the isue of 2. jan 1909, page 3, the announcement of the birth of a daughter on 26. Dec. 1908, to M/M Chrles Acker.
3.The Picket Line Post of 18. Aug. 1905 announces the birth of daughter Myrtle on 15 Aug. 1905 to M/M Charles Acker and her subsequent death on 3. Sept. 1905
4.The Picket Line Post of 1 July 1904 announces the marriage of Charles Acker to Minnie May, both of Consesus, on 26. June 1904
5.The Picket Line Post announced the death of Mrs. Frank Acker in its issue of 3. Feb. 1906.The funeral was on 29 Jan. 1906.Interment in Arnold Cemetery
I think these Ackers are descendants of Albert Acker and Sarah Hart Acker, who moved to Livingston County about 1804 from NJ.If I find more conclusive evidence I will let you know. Geof Acker
