Re: Acker family from Germany

My ggrandfather was John Joseph Acker born 26 January 1881 in Elmyra, New York, and resided most of his life and died in New Jersey. He had a brother named Lewis, who also lived in New Jersey. I have not been able to make a connection beyond him to his parents, and his brother Lewis dissappeared. Could I be part of the missing New Jersey Ackers of whom you spoke?
