1850 Census for Guilford,Medina County, OH where Elias was said to be born, there is a Jacob Aker, 27 yrs, born PA (1823). He is listed as a Carpenter; married to Elvisa or Elvira born in PA age 29 and a son Henry age 3 months born in OH. Next door was Michael Aker, 22 born in PA married to Mary 23 born in PA and daughter 8 months born in OH.Five houses away with the family of Nathan Cook was Henry Aker 17 yrs a laborer born in OH.
