DIED on 1 Sep 1889 in Akron, Summit, OH. BURIEDaft 1 Sep 1889 in Section 10, lot 30, Grave 3 Glendale Rural Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.35 Employedabt 1883 at Machinist at W.C. & L Machine Company. CAUSE OF DEATH: Consumption.35 Listed on 1880 Census.

1850 Census for Guilford,Medina County, OH where Elias was said to be born, there is a Jacob Aker, 27 yrs, born PA (1823). He is listed as a Carpenter; married to Elvisa or Elvira born in PA age 29 and a son Henry age 3 months born in OH. Since he is not listed in later census, could he have died before Elias was born?Akron and Summit County by Ex-Sheriff Samuel A. Lane 1892
Next door was Michael Aker, 22 born in PA married to Mary 23 born in PA and daughter 8 months born in OH.Five houses away with the family of Nathan Cook was Henry Aker 17 yrs a laborer born in OH.
