S. P. ACKERMAN DIES IN CHANUTE, KANSAS

I am searching for Samuel Platt Ackerman and sent away for an obituary that turned out to be for another S.P. Ackerman.
"Samuel P. Ackerman, a former resident of Carlock and El Paso, died Dec. 17. at Chanute, Kan.He was born Nov. 30, 1856, in Stoystown, Pa., the son of William T. and Mary Jane Ackerman.
He went to El Paso while still a young boy and married Lovinia Berg in 1881.
He was preceeded in death by one daughter.Surviving are his wife and five daughters:Mrs. Ethel Ekin and Mrs. Grace Stephens of Bloomington, Mrs. Beulah Schanbacher, Newton, Kan.;Mrs. Estelle Eccles, Parsons, Kan., and Mrs. Clara Burke, Chanute, Kan.There are eight grandchildren; one sister and three brothers, Miss Rebecca and Chauncey of El Paso, Robert L. of Normal and I.M. of Bloomington.He was a member of the Evangelical church."
