Jacob Ackerman(Ocherman) of Va., Md, and Pa.

I am interested in learning any information regarding Jacob Ocherman who fought in the Revolutionary War from Va. He then lived in Md. until finally settling in Adams co. Pa where he lived until his death. His will indicated a wife, Catherine and several children, one of which was Sarah. I am attempting to determine if this is the same Sarah Ackerman who married my great-great grandfather Andrew Pitzer.
