Stewart Dewitt Ackiss is my grandfather's brother. My grandfather was Ralph Ruel Ackiss. My grandmother was Mary Lizzie Oxford, they were from Pike county Georgia.
Ralph Ruel's Father and mother was James Buchanan Ackiss and Mary Ann Jimmerson. Their children were Mary Etta Ackiss (my mother) Carolyn Rebecca Ackiss and James Preston Ackiss all from Pike county. Carolyn is the only living child.
