That's so neat - so who are you related through?
Fred's mother Sulie didn't live with Burgess much. My husband remembers that very well. He wondered if they had ever been officially married, but I did find the marriage record. Fred's wife's family - Clay - started moving to Lima Ohio for industrial work, so he brought his family around the 1950's. The 1920 census lists Fred's name as "Acorns" and that Sulie wasn't married, but she was - more family drama. She either didn't tell or they weren't happy about it. There is a story that Fred and possibly some of the siblings actually belong to a "Music" instead of "Acord", but I haven't gotten where that's coming from yet - still tracking that down. And do you know where the indian comes in? Man, these people turn beautifully dark in the sun & have the typical cheekbones & nose structure. P.S. Thanks for your help!
