Jason

On the 1876 map, I have it saved on file. The cemetery on Morrison farm is the one my brother came across years ago.We used to hunt the backside of Morrison's and an adjacent farm Orris').The 2 creeks you see intermingled with Morrison's name on the map are 2 hollows we did a lot of hunting in.My brother has not been out to the farm lately, but you've reminded me to ask him to go check it out soon.He and my dad now hunt further east in the Twp.Ever since the Orris farm was sold a few years back (it's a horse farm now).

Just for info, there are a couple Acre's we're related to buried at the cemetery at the Slate Lick cross roads. You can see it on the topo map you have posted. If you want the info let me know and I'll look it up in my files as soon as I can.If you have my Family Tree Maker file, it is listed in the notes section, as well as most of the Acre burial info I have.Someone incorperated my files into their's and do list my files in their footnotes under "Master Acre Files"

To add to my data base, if you have any pictures or new info, I'd appreciate a copy of them. I can also scan and send you a copy of a picture of Augustus and Rose (Orris) Acre.It is from the '70's before they died. (I was a paulbarer for Augustus upon his death). He was one of my alltime favorite relatives and quite the joker.I also have a "4 generation" pic of Augustus, his son Howard(my grandfather), My father (Charles), and me at about 6 months old haha.

Keep in touch (and anyone else)and let's see what else we can dig up.I've hit a roadblock.
