of Thomas and Martha Preston Acres.

d. 23 Sept. 1830 age 86, Jordonville, T/Warren,Herkimer Co., NY, bur. Little Lakes Cemetery.
wife Margaret (or Sarah?Elizabeth?) Elliot, b. c1743 ps. Mass.
She d. 20 Mar. 1813, age 70, bur. with husband.
George was in Rev. War, Mass. There is no Pension. Land Warrant 3624, 100 acres.
George did spend some time in Grand Isle, Vt. before coming to NY State. Also in Grand Isle was William Rounds another T/ Warren Settler who m. Delight Reed of Vt.

1789 there is a George Acres in Boston City who is a
Cabinet Maker, residing Back-street
1790 a George Akers, T/ Boston
A George Acres, Plantation #5 (Cummington), Corp Capt. William Word's Co. (Late) Enl. cont. Army from apt. Nathan Alden's 9th Co. Col. Mitchell'sRegt. 2/20/1788. Enl. for T/ Bridgewater, Ma. joined Capt. Brown's Co., Jackson's.
