Greetings.I believe that the W.P.Adair that was father of your grandmother is possibly William Penn Adair, who married a Sarah Ann Adair, as well as a Sue McIntosh Drew.It could also be Wm. Pendelton Adair, who married a Julia Frances Allison.There are several William Penn Adairs listed in Dr. Starr's book on the Adair Genealogy.Hope this will help.Jean
