This is a message to all the Adair families that see this site and have come across my posting of a year ago. At that time I was very new to the web and wasn't as knowledgeable about how far-reaching it is and also about what you might call web etiquette:that is--don't put anything personal out there for all to see unless you realize the consequences. Immediately after sending that first posting--before there were even replies to it--I tried to contact the gen-forum site to have it removed. Although I repeatedly sent e-mails and have even done so as recently as last week no one has ever returned the message. If anyone knows the originators of this site or can help in removing my original posting I would be grateful. I never thought that when I brought up the subject that I would be offending or insulting any of the Adair families. I too heard stories about other relatives and always wondered about a side of the family that I never got to know--and wish I did. But as for how many people would see the posting and it's effect I can only plead stupidity. I do check the replies from time to time out of curiousity and do wish my remarks had never been posted--or at least that someone at gen-forum would have helped me remove them.
