Will of Ransome FOSTER Will Book, No. 7 P. 50 Brunswick County, Virginia "In the name of God Amen" I Ransam FOSTER of Brunswick County, Virginia being very low and -weak in body but of perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following viz -
Item the 1st It is my will that all my just debts be paid.
Item the 2nd. I give and bequeath to my son John Harwood FOSTER one feather bed which he has now in possession.
Item the 3rd. I give and bequesth to my son William FOSTER one feather bed which he has now in is possession.
Item the 4th. I give and bequeath to my son Peter Ransome FOSTER one feather bed which he has now in is possession.
Item the 5th. Also I give and bequath to all of my other Children Susannah, Elizabeth FOSTER, Beverly FOSTER and Samuel FOSTER each one feather bed as they can be spared out of the family.
Item the 6th. I lend to my wife Elizabeth FOSTER during her life or widowhood all of my remaining property and at her death or at the expiration of her widowhood I desire all my estate to be equally divided and given to all my children or their heirs.
Only I bequeath to my daughter Susannah one horse by the name of Nabob ??extraordinary?? if it should be alive.
I also constitute and ordain my wife Elizabeth FOSTER the executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this 13 th day of Nov. A.D. One thousand eight hundred and three.
