"A descendent of Mary Ann (TUDOR, rel. of Philip Adair's wife))found the marriage bond signed by the groom's father and the bride's father, John TUDOR, in the court house of Lexington, ROCKBRIDGE Co., VA. dated Feb. 29, 1804.
I believe that family came to Va. around 1798 from Baltimore Co., MD. with the ADAIRS. One of John TUDOR's daughters, Elizabeth TUDOR married Phillip ADAIR in Baltimore (co. Maryland ?)in Feb.23, 1798.
Then in 1805, the ADAIRS, James and Mary Ann LARKINS and John TUDOR with his family all traveled together into Oh in Dec. 1805.
I have not been able to find the original immigrant, but think he must have come in around the 1750's.
I am from John (TUDOR) b.1804 in Va who was the youngest brother of Mary Ann TUDOR."
Other messages by Loretta re Adair were numbers 613, 615, 656 etc.
Would these ADAIRS have been on the Baltimore Co. MD census for 1790 possibly close to the TUDOR family ?
Would they have been in ROCKBRIDGE Co., VA, where some of their children may have been born ?
Were there other ADAIRS who went to ROCKBRIDGE Co. VA and either stayed there, or moved to other States & counties. Thankyou.
