re: John C. Adair and wife Margaret?? who came from Scotland in 1827,(?) and were married on the boat. Do not know exactly where they landed in at, but they migrated into the Monroe Co, Tn. area and were on the census in 1860 (?). My Grandmother Mary Jane Adair was one daughter and they had a son William Clarke, Other Daughters, Sarah, Rebecca, Julia, Letitia. ------------------ They appear to be the same family on the 1860 McMinn Co, TN census which showed John Adair b.(c.1806 in Pennsylvania). Would you have an update on this family, and where John Adair's parents resided in Pennsylvania ?Thankyou.
