This message is a call for any descendants of the following couple to dig out and dust off family records and files for any references to their ADAIR lineage.

I am looking specifically for any references in old letters or documents or Bibles to Jane Adair Brooks’ family; parents, aunts, uncles, siblings, etc. Most researchers place her as a daughter of Whitmill Harrington Adair and Sarah “Sally” Sorrells, but there may be some reason to question that lineage. No reference is too small or insignificant to overlook if it will help prove or disprove Jane Adair’s lineage.I have dug through my own records to no avail; I’ve contacted various known cousins (you know who you are) for help.So far we’ve come up empty-handed.
