In the research I've done on my family,I've never seen the name Rufus S. ADAIR in the family and have never seen any record of him in the various census records. However, I was told by a researcher for the John Smith ADAIR family that he had a son Rufus Heslep ADAIR b. 16 Sep 1854 in either Marhsall or Tate Co. MS
