I have been looking up deed abstracts and ran across several in the Wilkes and Jackson County Georgia books and found that Bozeman was living in Jackson County in March of 1801. Here is some info from the Jackson County Deed Book C 1801-1802, PAGE 131
March 19, 1801, deed from James Bankston to Nathan Maroney, both of Jackson County, in consideration of $100 for 144 acres of land in Jackson County on the Waters of Brushy Creek, beginning on the S side of Morrises branch with George Hampton and Nelson, on Dardens old line and line of BOZEMAN ADAIR, being a part of a tract granted to John Darden conveyed to John Bankston. Witness: BOZEMAN ADAIR, Issac Meroney. Sworn by Issac Meroney on December 12, 1801 before Johnathan Wallace, J.P. Recorded Dec. 17, 1801.
