There has been much confusion about the JAMES ADAIR listed in the 1840 census records in Paulding Co. Georgia. In the Ancestry.com census records,the name "James Lee Adair" (s/o Bozeman Adair) has been added;however,the ages of this James Lee & his children's ages & sex of children do not match the Males -Females that are in the 1840 Paulding Census Records.I believe this was James Adair b. 08 Jun 1790 (s/o John Adair & Jean Faires) . . because the birth dates do match the 1840 census in Paulding Co. GA.
