Thanks for responding to my inquiry. I hopw that this message finds you well and in good sprits. I am sure that I met you when you were small and visited Ca. with your mom and dad.I believe-I am not sure of this )that my sister Myra returned to- was it Wis. or Wyom- with your parents (but she came back home soon) I am trying to find my grandmothers gravesite and her date of marriage to our grandfather. My grandmother was Josie Lee Egans and she was married to your grandfather before Miss Savannah.
I also wanted to know what happened to your grandfathers brother Uncle A.D. that made him leave Lousiana to never return.Someone mentioned that he killed someone, but I am not sure.I remember a little bit about Aunt Caroline, but I don;t remember Mary Jane Boston.I think that they lived in Minden, but I can't remember. We lived on Hollywood Ave. in Shreveport, not to far from the Greenwood Airport. I am not close to anyone in the family and have no clue as to what happened to Eddie Herold, Nicholas, and Elnora. Nicholas did come up for my mothers funeral and since then I have heard nothing.Don'tyou have a brother?Where and how is he?
Okay, I don't want to be a blabbermouth, but it's great hearing from you.
I am thinking that maybe your uncle J.D. may know where his mother is buried or J.D's wife, Ernestine may know. The last time that I talked to Ernestine she told me that she hardly remembers much anymore.Uncle J.D's memory is probably worse.
I want to find the Eddie Allums family and the A.D. Allums family that live in California also. Both Eddie and A.D. Allums have children in California that I know exist, but I do not know their names.
It's been great talking to you.Plese keep in touch. And thanks again for responding to my inquiry.
Oh, and if you should hear anything about where my grandmother, Josie Lee Egans, is buried will you please let me know?
