Nancy Adams was the daughter of Elkanah Adams and Mary Ann Pigg who had moved from VA to Clark County, KY. Elkanah died 5 Jan 1807. Elkanah's estate left a large sum of money and considerable property, and died in Madison County, KY where his court action took place. The children of Elkanah were Byrd, John, Berryman, Minter, Sally, Aggy,Lucy, Mary and NANCY WOODSON.
