Looking for more on the parents of Joseph Leroy Adams of Cleveland Ohio, who was born May 3, 1890 in Cleveland, Ohio and died April 18, 1953.
The father's name was Joseph P. Adams and the mother's name was Mary Cox, and they were said to have come from New York state.
Also looking for more on Joseph L. Adams' children, Helen R. Adams (born 1913, Cleveland) and Harry Adams (born 1915, Cleveland). Joseph Adams married Rose Helen Connell on Sept. 28, 1911 in Cleveland, Ohio, and I am unsure when she died.
The daughter, Helen R. Adams, was for years a clerk for the old Nickel Plate Railroad in Cleveland.
The Joseph L. Adams family originally lived at 1385 East 110th Street, Cleveland until the death of Helen's mother, Sarah Connell (nee Costello), in 1940. (She lived next door at 1387 East 100th Street with her only surviving daughter, Emma Connell.) Joseph and his family moved to 84 East 216th Street in Euclid, Ohio, and he was a a foreman at the Dill Manufacturing Company until at least 1953.
Any information on Joseph P. Adams (who may have been a preacher, as he married his son to Rose Connell) and Mary Cox in New York would be helpful.
Any information on what happened to Helen R. Adams of Euclid Ohio and the Nickel Plate Railroad, or her brother Harry, would also be helpful.
