I have an 8 X 10 portrait of Claude M. ("Flap") Adams, US Army, officer of unknown rank. His wife was Ruth (maiden name unknown.) He was an aide to General Marshall and was stationed at Fort Scriven, Tybee Island, Georgia. (Fort Scriven is no longer in use.) He was later stationed in Charleston, SC,then possibly Rio de Janeiro and then Moultrie (SC or Ga?)He eventually was at the U. of Fla. (in what capacity I don't know.)
I am not related to Adams and would like to see his portrait go to one of his family (preferably immediate family or direct descendants.)I can make a digital copy available to others as they request it.
E-mail me directly for a speedier response--I won't be checking the Adams forum since I'm not related.
