She was a kind and loving wife and mother, always ready and willing to do her part and was glad to help anybody in need or in sickness. It can truly be said of her that she died as she had lived with a fast and abiding faith in God, as early in life she gave herself to Christ, being baptized and united with the Christian Church.A beautiful life is ended here, but what is our loss is her gain.
The esteem in which she was held was shown in the care and kindness of the good neighbors during her sickness and burial.Funeral services were conducted at the Union Church at Davis City by Rev. Dobson and Rev. Campbell. The body was taken to Henderson's parlors to await the arrival of a son who was delayed by washouts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CARD OF THANKS.
We wish to express our appreciation and thanks for the very many favors shown us by the kind friends and neighbors, for the beautiful floral offerings at home and church in the bereavement of our wife and mother.
