Brassfield Adams is the Caleb Brasfield Adams, son of David and nephew to Jonathan, and Putnam and Seth are sons of David and Charlotte. On familysearch.com this Adams family is listed and gives Jonathan and Charlotte's children as Putnam, Seth, Able, Mary A., and Elizabeth "Betsy". I believe this Mary A. is the one who died in 1870, married to John Williams, but have no proof of that. Right now we are checking into the possibility of Putnam (b. 1791) being our Mary's father, Seth may have been too young (b. 1795). Jonathan and Charlotte are said to have been married about 1790, but haven't seen an actual record of that.
Thank you very much for your information, and also do you have any record of David being married to a Mary Lawrence before Elizabeth Brasfield? I am wondering if she died in childbirth and their daughter, possibly also dying at that time, is the one buried with David. There are other Lawrence's in Jasper County as well, and one cemetary has Adams' and Lawrence's buried in it.
Also, do you know who the widow Nancy Adams was married to, or who the Illegitimate Hiram Adams was a son of? (in the 1827 land lottery)
Thank you again for your help, you have filled in some blanks for us!
