Hi James, I also am a decendatOf Randolph Adams, b 1802. My line runs from Randolph, to Stephen b1832 d 1862, to Jesse Adams, b 1861 d 1904, to Woodrow Adams b 1879 d 1962 to Mary Adams (my Mother) About 20 years ago I took a trip through KY and found the old homesteds of Stephen and Jesse that are located on Carr Creek and Smith Branch in Knott County. This used to be Letcher County that was later divided into three Counties. They built a Dam on Carr Creek and had to move thecemetary. They moved it upstream from the Dam and re buried the bodies on a hillside along the road coming from Hindman, KY.I found Sephens headstone, near the middle of the cemetary. At that time I had not found his connection to Randolph. It is very possible that Randolph and other relatives are buryed at this location. Hindman is the County Seat and I am sure you get the exact location of the cemetary from the Court House.
