Margaret, at this point I don't know for certain about the family relationships of the other Rowan NC early Caseys but am attempting to tie them together by looking into associated surnames. For instance--witness to the 1787 SAMUEL Casey/Isabel Adams marriage was one "Spruce Macay."(Could this be another spelling of McCoy?) Spruce Macay was listed in Youngs district in the 1790 Rowan census as was WILLIAM Casey. Similarly, "Jno. MacAy" was witness to the Rowan Co. 1787 marriage of William Casey and Sarah Taylor (Bond #000123460).I suspect that some of these Caseys and associated families were in early northeast Georgia.
