Hi Kathy.I am stuck at yet another brick wall and hoping your information will get me going again. My Adams family is rooted in 1800s near the Pocomoke (now Worcester Co.) MD area (on north side of Pocomoke River. Here is what I know
William Adams married Elizabeth Dickerson, both born MD on north side of Pocomoke River (now Worcester Co. MD but could have been considered part of Old Somerset Co. MD then...)
They had ? children:Henry Dennis Adams b. 1846/47
John Adams b. 1844/45
Emma Virginia Adams (marr Bloxom)
All three children married and settled in Accomack Co VA.
Perhaps the parents moved to VA from MD after they married.
Henry married Mary Ann Baker, dau of John S. Baker and Catherine "Emma" Hickman.Emma married a Bloxom 1st, then a Bundick 2nd.John was a blacksmith in Acc Co VA and married a West.Henry and Mary Ann had several children, all born Accomack Co VA, including Rosa Lillian (marr George R. Berry), Pearl (marr Will Mears), Chauncey (marr and moved to DE) , Harry (killed auto/train collision age 23).I am the granddaughter of Rosa who married George R. Berry.
Any information you may have to shed light on ancestry of this line would be greatly appreciated.
