Searching for the parentage and information on Asa H. Adams, born about 1805 in Massachusetts.Information I have is limited:
* Asa married Fannie Fales Harlow in 1837 * Asa is listed in 1840 & 1850 census living in Lunenburg, MA * Fannie is listed in 1880 census as widow in Wilbraham, MA * Fannie is listed in 1890 Holyoke directory is S. Hadley Falls, MA
Fannie (Harlow) Adams descends from Sgt. William Harlow of Plymouth, and I have alot of information on this family. It is the Adams family (and Asa), that have been my brickwall.
I know there were multiple Adams families in the Lunenburg and Townsend area, including relatives of the Presidental Adams' family.
Captain Daniel Adams (b. 1720 Concord, MA) moved to Townsend in 1742 and had 7+ children, leaving hundreds of descendents in the area.
Rev. Zabdiel Adams (b. 1739 Braintree, MA) moved to Lunenburg in 1758 and had 11 children, leaving hundreds of descendents in the area.Zabdiel is the second cousin of President John Adams, their fathers (John/John & Zabdiel/Ebenezer) were brothers, and sons of Joseph Adams & Hannah Bass.
To recap, I am searching for a connection between my Asa H. Adams and one of the Adams families from the Lunenburg and Townsend area.
Asa H. Adams and Fannie Fales Harlow had three children, Sarah F. Adams (b. 1841 Lunenburg, MA), Rev. William H. Harlow (b. 1838 Townsend, MA) and Drusilla Adams (b. 1845 Lunenburg, MA).
