I have a 1976 publication of the cemeteries of Hardin County. If any would like more info I will be happy to do look ups in the book.
The main funeral home for Kountze (capital of Hardin Co.) was Pace. They suffered 2 fires over the years and many of the older records were lost. They sold out to Broussards in 1964 I believe. Broussards records only go back to 1964.
I can travel to the cemeteries in Hardin, Jefferson, Polk and Tyler counties to obtain a photo of a headstone but I must charge a small fee to cover expenses. If any are interested, please contact me off list.
