I’m another one of those people with the family legend stating I’m related to President John Adams. However, I’m pretty confident the legend is true.My grandmother is still alive and was able to provide information from the family bible. She also remembers when she was married in 1949 there was a lady (school teacher) from Illinois or Ohio who was in contact with my great grandmother regarding the lineage to John Adams. This lady from Illinois or Ohio supposedly wrote up her research and a copy was supposed to be available at the Kansas City library.I have checked the library and am unable to locate the information.I do have pretty good (documented) information back to 1841.I will provide my information with the hope one of you fine people can assist me with my search.Whatever help you may provide is greatly appreciated.
Information obtained from relatives and public records. Some of the information differs between public records and relatives.I have provided the information from relatives as my research thus far leads me to believe it is more accurate.I have information on most of these people to present but need the information for George, Jane and their parents.
