Hi,
My family history on my Dad's mother's side, starts with George Adams of Watertown Mass. a Henry is mentioned, but the relationship between them is not specified. So I am also interested to know if and how they were related...
The history I have says that George was a glover(farmer) came from England his wife's name was Frances(last name believed to be Taylor) and although it is unkown when he came to America, his first child John (who married Abigail Pinney) was born in 1645, the birth of George Jr (who married Martha Fiske) followed in about 1647, then Daniel (who married Mary Phelps)was born in 1652, there are other children without birth years - Samuel, Mary, Joseph, Benjamin all descendants of George Sr. and Frances.
My line is believed to have descended from Daniel who is listed as having had the following children:
Daniel Jr, Sarah, Samuel,Joseph, Thomas,Benjamin, Thankful(died at age two) Mary and Mercy (twins also died young),Ephraim, and a second Thankful.I have dates and spouse names for some of them.Don't know if any of this is helpful.
If you find out anything more about Henry and George's relationship,or have further genealogy from this line, I'd be very curious to know.
Thanks, Linda
