If you can wait until after Christmas, I will see if I can find and scan my copy of the picture.Actually, the picture had to have been made in the late 1840's, just before he died, because of the style of the daguerreotype it was. The quality is not good because a Daguerreotype changes as the light hits it, so it was hard to transfer to a regular photograph.
I have been doing a little work on the Adams family also.I have been collecting information on Dr. Absalom Adams (usually called A. Adams) who was not only a practicing physician but also an evangelist and pastor for the early Christian Church in Kentucky. He was a personal friend of Alexander Campbell, Barton Stone, etc. He was pastor of the Christian Church in Lancaster and at Mt. Zion near my house here in Madison County. He was the son of Absalom Adams and also the grandson of Absalom Adams.I have been trying to find a picture of him.
