I've been working on a Paternal Family Tree for a while and I'm stuck.
I have my dad (Frank E. Adams, b.1939, Derby, Virginia). His parents were Willie E.(1910, VA) and Clara (McNutt)(b.1915 VA). Willie's parents were John (b.approx 1878-1882, VA) and America (Reed)(b.approx 1886, VA). John's parents were C.W.(Charles)(b.approx 1835-1837,NC or Texas) and Nancy Elizabeth "Lizzie" Clifton (b approx 1847). Nancy was also Charles's second wife, with first being Julia A. Pearson. Appears she died during childbirth. Charles parents were G.W. (George)(b.approx 1804, NC) and Martha "Patsy" Mowsley (b.1807,NC).It appears that George and moved to Texas for awhile, as several of his and Patsy's kids are listed on early census as being born in Texas, before being switched to Virginia or NC. George's parents were William (b.approx 1779-1782, NC) and Mary E. (b.approx 1787, NC).
This is fair as I could get, and the records/sources are real sketchy along the way. If anyone could help with this or shed some light on good sources or details, it would be much appreciated.
Also, any distant relatives that would be interested in sharing info, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
