John, thanks for the prompt reply. What data I have on the Adams family does not include an Allen Adams, but there could be gaps in the tree. The earliest ancester I have reference to is Reuben Adams who came to TN with his parents from North Carolina. He was born Mar. 1, 1795, and died Dec. 7, 1870. He married Pricilla Robertson. Both are buried in the family graveyard in Adams, TN.
