Hi Sharon, thanks for the reply. As far as I know Sarah Adams did not marry until she came to Texas.I have her marriage license where she married F.M. Kirkpatrick in Bell County, Texas in 1869. They had 2 daughters and one son.By 1879 she was widowed and was married to her second husband W.W. Walker. They had 3 daughters and 2 sons.William B. and Ed L.
Sarah was still living at home in Arkansas for the 1860 census. Her mother died December 1860 and her father February 1867.
Sarah was still living at home in Arkansas for the 1860 census. Her mother died December 1860 and her father February 1867.My question is if she was still living at home when her father died in 1867 why did she come to Texas and who did she come with.I know she had a couple of brothers already in Texas....did she go to one of their home?If so which one? Where did her other brother's and sister's that were still living at home at the time of their father's death go?
