Just thought this might be of interest. I am researching Jonathan Adams & Rachel McClendon married in Clarke Co., Ga 1807 & resided in Limestone Co., Alabama, census says he was born in SC. Children are:
Mary Adams B:1809 M: Edward Legg Sarah Adams B:1809 m: Lovell Legg Eli Adams B:1810 m: Mary Jane Robertson Travis Adams B: 1815 m: Keziah Robinson Martha Adams B:1821 John Jonathan Adams B:1828 m:Nancy Jane Perry Elva Adams B:1832 Joseph Jones Adams B: 1/14/1833
Rumor has there were 16 children. Mary & Sarah were twins that married brothers. Mary,Sarah & Eli were born in Ga., the rest around Limestone Co., Al. & Giles Co., Tenn. Any help would be great, Looking for Jonathan's siblings & Parents.
